Why does HLB focus on multilingual support?

HLB is an international network of accountancy and advisory firms, represented in more than 150 countries. HLB Belgium is also an active part of this global group and is strongly committed to international client guidance.

HLB Belgium has been closely involved in the operations of the international network since its inception. For instance, we have been a member of the Council as a principal member from the start. Furthermore, Patrick Van Impe serves as the chairman of the nomination committee. Nationally, the latter is Honorary President of the Institute of Registered Auditors. HLB Belgium is also part of the Pia Group nationally, which employs 1,300 people in Belgium and generates a turnover of EUR 150 million. This places us among the top 10 in Belgium.

We believe that international ambitions should not be hindered by language barriers. That is why we have in-house multilingual experts who can fluently support our clients in their own language. This approach allows us to provide personal and efficient guidance to our Chinese clients — without external intermediaries.

Opportunities in Belgium…

Belgium is known for its many beers, delicious food, and tourism (Bruges and Ghent). But above all, it is a central location in Western Europe where a great deal happens and where numerous opportunities lie:

  • Antwerp has one of the largest ports in the world. The maritime and logistics sectors are therefore key pillars of the Belgian economy.
