The initials HLB refer to the founders of the international network. Through a merger, the three names disappeared and in 1990 Hodgson Landau Brands was renamed HLB International. HLB International now stands for Helping Local Business Internationally. The network brings together more than 46,000 employees across more than 1,000 offices in more than 157 countries.
