Since June 2025, HLB Belgium has been part of PIA Group BeLux, a leading group in accountancy, audit, and advisory services in the Benelux. This step aligns with our ambition to grow sustainably in expertise and services, while maintaining respect for our identity, independence, and local roots.
PIA Group BeLux was founded in 1999 by Steven Brouckaert and has grown into a leading player in accountancy, audit, and advisory services. The group is active in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, with nearly 150 offices and 3,500 employees across the three countries. In 2025, PIA Group achieved a turnover of 440 million euros in the Benelux.
The strength of PIA Group BeLux lies in the combination of entrepreneurial, locally rooted offices with the scale, expertise, and professional support of a larger group. Each office retains its own DNA, while simultaneously benefiting from shared knowledge, technology, and specialized expert teams.
Within PIA Group BeLux, HLB Belgium retains full autonomy in strategy, organization, and client relationships. At the same time, we are supported in areas such as innovation and business development, allowing our teams to focus fully on high-quality service and client advice.
