了解我们提供的中文服务

At HLB, we understand the importance of clear communication—especially if you’re a Chinese entrepreneur or individual active in Belgium. That’s why we offer our full range of services in Mandarin as well — from accountancy, audit, and tax support to financial advisory and business setup.

Why does HLB invest in multilingual support?

HLB is an international network of accountancy and advisory firms, represented in over 150 countries. HLB Belgium is an active part of this global network and is strongly committed to guiding international clients.

From the very beginning, HLB Belgium has been closely involved in the workings of the international network. We have been a member of the Council since the start as a principal member. In addition, Patrick Van Impe is chairman of the Nomination Committee. Nationally, he is also Honorary Chairman of the Institute of Registered Auditors (IBR). HLB Belgium is also part of the Pia Group, which employs 1,300 professionals in Belgium and generates a turnover of 150 million EUR — making us one of the top 10 firms in Belgium.

We believe that international ambitions should not be hindered by language barriers. That’s why we have in-house multilingual experts who can support our clients fluently in their own language. With this approach, we can also personally and efficiently assist our Chinese clients — without external intermediaries.

This service is available at all HLB Belgium offices: Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Charleroi, and Kortrijk.

Opportunities in Belgium…

Belgium is known for its many beers, fine cuisine, and tourism (Bruges and Ghent). But more importantly, it holds a central position in Western Europe with numerous developments and opportunities:

  • Antwerp hosts one of the world’s largest ports. The maritime and logistics sectors are major pillars of the Belgian economy.
  • The port of Antwerp houses the largest chemical cluster in the world, home to global players in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
  • Antwerp is the global hub for the diamond sector.
  • Belgium is a leader in the pharmaceutical sector (pharma, biotech, etc.), with both R&D and production making major contributions to the economy.
  • Brussels plays a key international role, being home to many European institutions and NATO.
  • Start-ups in technology and biotech are supported by university spin-offs.
